Guild rules Hey guys and girls, Below you can find a list of rules and suggestions that we would like you to take into account from now on during raids and in daily WoW activity. This list is made to help us function better as a group and not to set restrictions. I know it's a long list and old members probably already know them, still please read it all and give us your feedback. Raiding Rules: 1. Every guild member / trial / CL will be online and ready for raid at least 10 minutes before scheduled raiding time. (find below what "ready for raid" means) If you aren't able to come to raid, let Darky or an officer know about it in advance. 1 day notice would be perfect so we can do the necessary changes. 2. Every guild member / trial / CL should clear his/her schedule until 23:00 server time in all raiding days. Should anyone have to go AFK for more then 2 minutes must let a CL or raid leader know about it and it should be a sustainable reason. Example of a sustainable reason - "Police is lifting my car, i need to go and move it right away or i can kiss it goodbye." Example of a non-sustainable reason - "I gotta go eat." 3. During raid all raid participants need to be on Team Speak - raiding channel, in order to communicate with raid leader and all other participants. 4. For new encounters, all raid participants should research tactics and strategies of the encounter, before the raid, not during. 5. During raid you should not participate in other chats then /raid and /class channel. Else you'll find yourself buying birthday cakes in Dalaran while the raid kills a boss 6. All raiding participants should be in an alert and focus state throughout the whole raid. Strategies, assignments and all other directions during raid should only be mentioned once. That means that if someone pops a repairing mount, unless you're at 100% durability you go and fully repair your gear at that exact moment. That means that once you're told to go left side on Thaddius, you hear that assignment and act accordingly. 7. The Raid leader counts on your main character and it's main specc. for which you joined the guild. Respeccs or joining with an alt will be only on raid leader request. 8. In case of a wipe, release and start running back to the corpse location right away. 9. Individual mistakes that happen repeatedly will result in a lootban for that player from that boss. 10. Getting disconnected up to 6 times during a short period of time (10-15 minutes) will lead to the replacement of that player. 11. Enchanting, gemcutting and all other gear boosts are done after the raid, not during. Same rule is active for asking for materials. Also, it will be considered extremely rude to loot a nice item, HS to Ogr. auction house, gem it and ask for a summon back into the raid. (will result in a -DKP) Ready for raid means: - all your gear is at 100% durability - you have at least 2 flasks on you (alchemists only 1 will do) or you have enough elixirs in order to have both Guardian and Battle buff on you at all boss encounters. - you have enough regents on you in order to be able to solo buff the group for an entire raid with class specific buffs (ex. A priest needs 60 Devout Candles for a full raid) - you have at least 10 food buff items on you. (don't always rely on fish or great feasts, remember the general market is going through a crisis atm . - you are aware of the DKP amount you have atm - you are able to spend the next 4 hours raiding with your guild Looting rules: 10 Mans - trash and boss loot: need - greed policy, same for members / trials / CLs Need = "I need this item for my mainspecc." Greed = "I need this item for my offspecc" Pass = "I don't need this item, but i may want an enchant soon so Darky please take it, disenchant it and put it in the guild bank. Thank you!" 25 Mans - trash: need - greed policy - boss loot: master loot - members can use their DKP to win the item (bidding starts at 50 DKP and is a public (/raid) auction - if no member need the item for mainspecc, then trial characters can bid on that item. - if no trial needs the item, members can bid for offspecc (again starting from 50 DKP) - it is posible to go into minus DKP if the item isn't desired by a member / trial with plus DKP - should a player bid more DKP then he owns at that moment, is considered a lack of honesty and good faith and will receive a - dkp penalty - during master loot, all characters that bid or want an item from that boss, must stay at boss corpse until they receive the loot they wanted (if you don't Deathangel will enrage, because his addon for registering looting will not work if you're away from the corpse and that will result in you paying a lot more for that item - the amount of DKP you earn in a raid can only be spent in the raids after that one, and not during that raid. - sitouts also earn DKP if they stay online for the duration of the raid - swapping between players and sitouts can occur for certain bosses, if a player doesn't need any loot from that boss and the other is in dire need of it. Guild general rules 1. The official language for /g chat is English (American or, in Darky's case, fokin British). 2. Always remember that your main and the alts you have in The Blood Gods bear the guild name. So whatever you do in PUGs, general chat, or other interaction methods is reflected in the guild image. So act responsibly, for we wish to position ourselves as a responsible casual/pro guild. 3. Make sure you visit www.bloodgods.net on a daily basis. You can see upcoming changes or reschedules, if any occur. 4. We don't enjoy or tolerate rude language or members flaming each other. We have the Class Leaders for that Thanks a lot for reading. For feedback, questions or other rules you consider should be on this list, I'm at your service
